New Price Increase on Salt Subscriptions from March 2025

Salt's mobile subscriptions will see a price increase of approximately 2% starting March 1, 2025, due to inflation.
Salt, one of Switzerland’s three main operators, has announced a price adjustment for its subscriptions beginning in March 2025.
Summary of the Announcement:
From March 1, 2025, the monthly base fee for Salt subscriptions will increase by 1 CHF for subscriptions costing less than 80 CHF and by approximately 2 CHF for higher-priced plans.
The price increase is linked to last year’s inflation and rising costs.
The adjustment does not apply to Salt PrePay rates, device offers, options, business subscriptions, or Salt Home plans.
Existing discounts remain valid, but their amount will be proportionally adjusted due to the price increase.
Customers can cancel their subscription within 30 days of the official notification by visiting a Salt Store or calling customer service.
Why is Salt Increasing Prices and by How Much?
Salt has unilaterally decided to raise the base monthly fee for its subscriptions by 1 CHF or 2 CHF starting March 2025.
This increase is due to rising costs over the past year, which have also impacted Salt’s infrastructure expenses. The specific cost increases identified by the operator include:
Energy costs (+19% on average over the past year)
Insurance costs
Rental costs
Which Subscriptions Are Affected and Which Are Excluded?
The Salt subscriptions affected by this increase are Salt Max and Salt Digital mobile plans.The price adjustment does NOT affect Salt PrePay, Salt Business plans, or Salt Home fiber subscriptions.

What Should I Do as a Salt Customer?
If you accept the increase, you don’t need to do anything. The price change will be reflected in your invoice from March 2025 onwards.
If you have a lifetime discount or a discount valid beyond March 2025, it will still apply but will be calculated based on the new base price, leading to an approximate 2% increase in your final cost.
If you do not accept the price increase, you can terminate your contract without penalty within 30 days of receiving the official notification from Salt (via email and/or SMS).
