Swisscom We Are Family

Let's start with Swisscom, the largest mobile operator in Switzerland.

With the We Are Family program, Swisscom offers a 50% discount on each additional blue Mobile plan (S, M, or L) in the same household.

You can add up to 4 additional mobile plans and save nearly CHF 200.

If you have a blue Mobile plan, you can add up to four more mobile plans at half price—as long as they belong to the same household.

Additionally, blue Mobile customers get a CHF 20 discount on their Swisscom Internet plan!

How to activate Swisscom’s We Are Family discount:

Check if you already have an active blue Mobile plan.
Sign up for an additional blue Mobile plan (including blue Kids).
Use the My Swisscom app to invite family members under the same household account.
Accept the invitation via SMS confirmation.

Sunrise Family Benefit

Moving on to Sunrise, this mobile operator also allows you to access dedicated discounts on the Sunrise Swiss Connect range of subscriptions (previously applicable to the Up Mobile range).

To activate it, you must have an active main contract, and then you can add subsequent contracts via My Sunrise, which allow you to get a 50% discount on the fees of these additional subscriptions with a permanent discount and maximum flexibility with no minimum contract duration. Migros Mobile: Family Discount

Let's move on to MVNO operators, starting with Migros Mobile, the telecommunications brand of the Migros cooperatives that uses the Swisscom 5G network.

With the transition from M-Budget to Migros Mobile, the old system called "FamilyPlus" was abandoned in favor of a new discount model based on the number of family members with an active subscription on the same invoice.

The Family discount accumulates up to a maximum of 5 subscriptions in this way: The discount increases by CHF 1 per month per person for each member added (2 people = CHF 1 discount each; 3 people = CHF 2; 4 people = CHF 3; 5 people = CHF 4).

Quickline Family

Quickline offers a family discount, but it requires bundling Internet, TV, and landline services.

Digital Republic Friends with Benefits

The mobile operator that offers the potentially largest discount is Digital Republic. In fact, this virtual operator that offers its services on the 5G Sunrise network is known for its flexible digital subscriptions with no activation costs and no minimum duration. It recently launched the "Friends with Benefits" program, designed both for families (multiple SIM cards on the same account) and groups of acquaintances.

This is truly an opportunity to connect with other members of the "digital republic," and by creating a link, you can join these groups and get a progressive discount of up to 30% reduction on the monthly fee for all participants, which is obtained with at least 10 members with active subscriptions in the group (which can, however, be composed of up to 15 different people). For example, if you have subscribed to the Flat Mobile Swiss plan, which is one of the best on our comparator, you would pay only 9.10 CHF instead of 13 CHF.
