Why is Zattoo raising the price of Ultimate?
The price adjustment reflects structural changes in the Swiss TV market. Since 2022, a common industry-wide solution has governed replay TV advertising and ad-skipping for all Swiss TV distributors. Following the latest tariff adjustment within this industry solution — effective January 1, 2026 — fees paid to Suissimage have increased. Zattoo passes this cost on via the Ultimate price adjustment, as this subscription includes the ad-skipping feature. The Premium subscription and Zattoo Home bundles are not affected.
